Description

An important and rare porcelain figure of a Polo Player, created by Edward Marshall Boehm (American 1913-1969). This subject was chosen by President Eisenhower as his personal gift to Queen Elizabeth in 1957. The original is in the permanent collection of Buckingham Palace. One hundred replicas, similar, but not exactly like the original were made. We are unsure of this model number. The lot includes extensive supporting documentation. Measuring, 13" h x 12.5" w x 5.5".
