Michael L. Jones (NC), Two Turned Wood Dishes
contemporary, the first in Big Leaf Maple Burl and Wenge with free-form edge and incised border, raised ring foot, signed and numbered 834 (3 x 16 in. diameter); and a Curly/Ambrosia Maple bowl with stained green rim having an incised edge, signed and numbered 1127 (3 x 14 in. diameter).
Note the natural minimal wormy area to the interior of the green bowl causing a ghost like effect against the natural grain.
