Description

Union Pacific Silver Plate-Reed and Barton Mfg.: This is a silver plate from the Union Pacific Railroad, manufactured by the Reed and Barton Company. Comes with a spring hangar attached for collectors who wish to hand it for display. Union Pacific shield is visible on the front of the plate along the edge, and "UP System" is engraved in script on the back of the plate, along with the maker's information. Measures 7.5" x 11". Union Pacific is faintly visible on front side. Chicago & Northwestern Railroad Clear Tall Lantern Corning Globe: This is a Chicago & Northwestern Railroad clear tall lantern Corning globe with "C. & NW. Ry." clearly cast into the globe. There is a small crack in the bottom of the lantern that is barely visible when inserted in a lantern. Measures 5.5" tall, 3.25" in outside diameter on the bottom, and 2.5" in outside diameter at the top. A few small chips/flea bites around the rims where the globe meets the lantern body. Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad Silver Plate-Mulholland Brothers, Inc.: This is a Chicago Burlington & Quincy (CB&Q/Burlington Route) silver plate. It measures 9" x 6.25". "Mulholland Brothers Inc" is on the back side of the plate. They bought the Aurora Silver Plate Company in Illinois and began manufacturing silver plates and flatware in 1915. "CB&Q RR Co" is also engraved on the reverse side of the plate. Comes with a spring hangar for those who wish to hang the plate for display. Included is a solid pewter pitcher.
