Three Chanel Haute Couture Separates, 1990s

One of the pair of pants was made by Paquito Sala and features a label with his name, hand-written in ink. Paquito Sala, an expert tailor at Chanel, worked under Pierre Balmain until the couturier's death in 1982. Lagerfeld brought him to Chanel the following year. The German couturier and the Spanish tailor first met in 1954, when Sala worked as Balmain's assistant. Thanks to the acumen that distinguished him, Lagerfeld immediately recognized Sala's outstanding skill and brought him to Chanel as the head of the atelier tailleur nearly thirty years later. Lagerfeld would deliver sketches, and Sala oversaw the creation of countless haute couture creations during his tenure with the house.

This lot includes one top and two pairs of pants.

Condition:THE FIRSTThe overall condition is good though there is some soiling along the neckline and sleeve cuffs. There are hanging threads under the front neck tie knot and left sleeve at elbow. The front pockets and necktie knot have loose stitches that are intact. There is minor soiling under each arms. THE SECONDThe overall condition is good, though there are some pulled threads through out each pant leg, mostly around the hips and lower legs. The front slide closure is detaching.THE THIRDThe overall condition is very good with no visible issues.Everything is sold 'As Is'.
