Alexander McQueen Pants Ensemble, Fall/Winter 2013  

At Alexander McQueen, creative director Sarah Burton presented an Elizabethan-inspired look book for Fall/Winter 2013. The collection included ruffles, high collars, and luxurious fabrics. In this ensemble, the pleated lantern sleeves demonstrate the fascination with roses at the house of McQueen, a perennial inspiration to explore nature and craft.

Red wool crepe two-piece pant ensemble including a wrap style jacket with mandarin collar, pleated lantern style cuffed long sleeves, and front left hidden button closure; paired with matching cropped slim pants with scalloped waist band and center back zipper closure.

Condition:The overall condition is very good though there is some faint soiling internally under each arm, at each internal sleeve hem, and two faint dark spots on the front of the jacket at chest and hemline. The lining has two panels that does not match the remaining lining which may suggest they are additions though the exterior of the jacket doesn't appear to have been altered. The pants have a faint dark spot on the back right leg inseam at low hip level. Everything is sold 'As Is'. The stated overall condition of the lot is based on the assumption that the wear is consistent with age and use. The absence of any reference to the condition of a lot does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
