Description
One commemorating Andre Hercule, Cardinal de Fleury by Jacques Antoine Dassier, dated 1738. The obverse depicting the Cardinal and the reverse depicting two serpents wrapped around a club among various symbols of plenty, the arts, and navigation. Surrounding the central image are the words HIS PACEM REDDIDIT ARMIS. The second commemorates the military campaigns of Napoleon, dated 1806. The obverse showing Napoleon in profile in a lion skin headdress with the words NAPOLEON LE GRAND EMPEREUR DES FRANCAIS. The reverse lists Istrie, Dalmatie, Naples, Iena, Berlin.
