Per consigner, this picture was given to her by her grandfather, Al Marney, a Chicago professional piano player and band leader who played throughout the Midwest from about 1920 until around 1960. He was friendly with many local radio and TV personalities and producers and was likely given this photo by one of the principals or producers of the "Kukla, Fran, and Ollie" show" (1947-1957). Kukla, Fran and Ollie was originally more of an adult show, and was credited by Jim Henson as one of the single most important influences on creating "The Muppets" in the following decade. Burr Tilstrom was inducted into the American Television Hall of Fame as part of its third class alongside Walt Disney, Jackie Gleason, and Mary Tyler Moore.
