Description
Lehmann 656 Tin Litho Windup "Vineta" Monorail Gyro Train Car. Made circa 1913 to 1935. Said to have been modeled after an experimental German monorail, probably the gyroscopic designs of August Scherl, this toy version was also designed to stay upright via in integral gyroscope, however this function usually lasted only a short time.
Dimensions are 4 in h x 10 in w x 2.5 in d. Condition is good, with significant paint loss and chips, a few dents and one side where tin is partially detached and needs to be pushed back into place. Please call or email for a detailed condition report.
