4 Antique Picture Frames, Metal Flowers, Art Nouveau. This lot consists of two pairs of picture frames, or four total. The first pair of picture frames, made in the Art Nouveau style, are metal with relief flowers and blades of grass throughout. They have vibrantly-colored fabric backings, one red, one blue. There are wires on the back for hanging. The pair of white frames appears to be older. The photographs within them could be from as far back as the 19th century, judging by the clothing worn, the curule seat, and the advent of photography itself. The carved relief children depicted on the frames themselves also seem to point to the late 19th or early 20th century, again, based on their clothing. A lovely set of picture frames for photographs of your family.

Dimensions of each flower frame are 8 in h x 8 in w x .75 in d. Dimensions of each white frame are 8 in h x 6.25 in w x .5 in d. Condition is good to very good.
