CB&Q/ Burlington Railroad Handwritten Locomotive Roster Through 1877 Another incredible book showcasing CB&Q / Burlington Route History. This 192 page book measuring 8" x 12 1/2" is a handwritten ledger of CB&Q locomotives covering locomotive numbers 1-31. This is an incredibly detailed ledger noting locomotive names, acquisition dates, railroads the locomotive were acquired from, mechanical details such as weight, water capacity, firebox size, and a list of major repaired and updates to each locomotive through about 1877. The book is incredibly fragile with the front cover and first few pages already detached. We think this book could be a treasure trove of information and that with the correct type of conservation it will last many more decades.
