Chicago and Northwestern Railroad "A Limited Train" Framed Advertising Print - Detroit Publishing Co A fine example of a Chicago and Northwestern Line framed advertising print. This print shows Chicago and Northwestern 4-4-2 #1100 pulling a limited passenger train over a bridge and through a field as it splits a pair of semaphore signals. Of interesting note if you look in the background you can make out a Hall Disc Signal which was painted into the scene. Marked in the lower right corner with Copyright 1907 Detroit Publishing Co. The matte reads, " A Limited Train Chicago and Northwestern Line" The visible print measures 25 1/4" x 13 3/4". The frame which appears to be original to the print measures 38 1/4" x 26 1/4". The frame has some minor dents, nicks, and light corner wear but is still very nice. The print and matte are in excellent condition with no notable condition issues.
