Chinese Ming Dynasty Xuande Bronze Incense Burner On Carved Hardwood Stand. Cast in shallow vessel form, thick and deep, emerging U shape flanked on the round opening lip, raised with short three elephant legs. All reserved in ornamentations are rendered in bronze under glazed base color which carved with imperial five claws dragon flying careening through cumulus clouds above thrashing Li-shui waves. The glaze has smooth texture and moisturizing, attracting unceasingly admiration.The Under-base bears a reign mark, carved four embossed script characters reign mark, enclosed within auspicious pattern. Made in The Years Xuande Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.

Over all in EXCELLENT condition. With normal anomalies in nature, sign of stressed surface, minor scratch & dents. Surface traced wear and or declined to gilding. Normal, consider ages and wear.
