Chinese Qing Dynasty Guangxu Alum Red Dragon Porcelain Plate. The plates has a broad wide central interior, rounded mouth lip, thick and large, raised on correspondence footed ring base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against alum red fine color, depicted of imperial five claws dragon flying careening through cumulus clouds above thrashing Li-shui waves. The glaze has smooth texture and moisturizing, attracting unceasingly admiration.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed red script characters reign mark. Made in The Years Guangxu Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
