Chinese Ming Dynasty Blue and White Immortals Porcelain Jar. Potted with a cylindrical straight vessel, short neck, flaring round mouth lip, raised on ring foot base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against blue fine color, depicted of immortals standing over ruyi clouds, dense tree and Ruyi shaped large pendants filled by scrolling clouds, interspersed by floral and fruiting banquets. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportion.The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark greyish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim.
