Chinese Qing Dynasty Period Blue & white Flower vase. The porcelain potted in baluster shape vase, large, thick and tall, globular lower body, slight ovoid, tapered gracefully toward trumpet-shaped on the tall neck mouth rim, raised on a flat round foot base with slight concave. All reserved hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white under glazed base color which contrast against the cobalt blue fine color, depicted of Lotus flowers blooms interspersed scrolling interlocking tendril and foliage, enclosed with bordered with dense of floral diaper surrounding Bajixiang symbols inside ruyi shaped cartouches and interlocking key fret. A characteristic heaped and piled effect, the under glaze cobalt blue concentrates in certain areas, bubbling through the surface of the glaze and turning a deep blue-black. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned. The glaze is seamless and gives off a beautiful luster, with the colors maintaining excellent vibrancy.

Mark on shoulder, a six under glazed blue seal script characters reign mark, Made In The Years of Qianlong Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.
