Kikozan Satsuma Dragon Vase - Japanese Meiji Period -This Satsuma earthenware vase measures 10" high x 12" wide and bears the factory mark of the Kikozan factory in Kyoto, Japan during the Meiji and Taisho period from 1872 until 1927. It depicts a hand painted blue Foo Dog or Komainu. The Foo Dog is also referred to as "Guardian Lions" and represent protection.Item is located in Austin, Tx.
