85. LARGE GERMAN CHINA LADY OF THE CIVIL WAR ERA. 35”. Porcelain shoulderhead with sculpted black hair arranged in so-called flat top style, painted features, blue eyes, red and black lid lines, tapered brows, closed mouth, replacement cloth body with porcelain lower limbs, dressed in black silk and lace gown, antique black bonnet and silk parasol. Commentary: Unusually large lady of good quality, replacement body, excellent condition.
