ASSORTED GREINER AND OTHER PAPIER-MACHE HEAD LADY DOLLS, LOT OF TWO, each with shoulder plate and paint decorated facial features, jointed cotton cloth bodies, comprising a Greiner's example, back shoulder plate with original label "GREINER'S PATENT HEADS / NO. 7. / Pat. March 30th.", black molded wavy hair; and a Greiner-type example with blonde curly molded hair, kid leather hands with sewn fingers and leather boots, stomach stamped "HAIR STUFFING". Each fitted in vintage attire, comprising a multi-print elaborate dress with lace and a brown and red print dress, shoes and a hat. Second half 20th century. 22 1/2" and 26" HOA.

Good overall condition, each with moderate wear and body discoloration and staining, some scattered stitching repairs and replaced joint fabric, Greiner example with a nose tip flake, blonde example with a vertical crack to face. Clothing in good condition, boots with damage, Greiner example lacking one shoe.
