AMERICAN ROSEVILLE ART POTTERY VASES, LOT OF TWO, comprising one example featuring relief purple Wisteria design on mottled blue and brown ground and one form 647-3" example depicting relief iris flower design on brown ground. Marks to underside include embossed 'Roseville / U.S.A. / 647 / 3"'. Roseville Pottery, Roseville, OH. 1937-1939. 5 1/8" HOA.
Literature: The Bomms - Roseville: In All Its Splendor, iris parallels p. 184, No. 647-4 and Wisteria parallels pattern pictured on p. 369.
