Description
The lot features a circa 1960-1970's Indian tanned buckskin hide pipe bag with geometric beadwork from the Sioux Native American Indians. The bag has a soft supple hide with dark coloring, showing glass trade seed beads in a geometric pattern and thread sewn. The beadwork shows colors of chalk white, corn yellow, red, royal blue, and green. The bottom has short buckskin fringes. The piece is in overall good condition, showing slight bead loss. The hide has been dyed or stained. Measures overall 16" L by 4.5" W.
