Circa 664-332 BC, Late Dynastic PeriodA delicate Egyptian faience amulet of the goddess Isis, typically portrayed in a form-fitting dress. She is depicted striding forward with her arms by her side. On her head she wears a tripartite wig with the throne crown associated with Isis. The back is unadorned and she stands on a rectangular base. She is mounted in a 22kt gold oval eye shaped pendant with suspension loop connected to a necklace. Size: L:40mm / W:5.8mm; 1.94g Provenance: Property of a London Gentleman; formerly in a private UK collection formed in the the 1990s.
