Description
Russian silver gilt enameled bowl, decorated with bands of scrolling floral decoration along the exterior and interior rim, and with a floral medallion along the interior. Marked along the underside with the assayer's mark of Lev Fridrikhovitch Oleks, dated 1891, the 84 standard mark, Moscow city mark, and an unidentified marker's mark.
Provenance: Property from the distinguished collection of Mr. James Lee Soffer, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
