This is an outstanding mid 18th century large map of central France, noting Limosin province of yesteryear in the title, but covering a much broader area including much of Massif Central. Great deal of detail is provided as to topography, fortified cities, towns, rivers, castles, chruches, roads, woods, mountains, lakes, etc. There is a large decorative cartouche. From the Atlas Universal by D Robert de Vaugondy.

Condition
Very Good. Nice imprint on thicker laid paper, handcolored outlines. Slight toning at edges mostly. A few marginal foxing spots and one small void in margins. Issued centerfold.
