Description

A six-volume set of Thomas D'Urfey's 1719-1720 work Wit and Mirth: or Pills to Purge Melancholy. Originally published in London in 1719-1720, these are of uncertain date. Though the text is a seemingly exact replica of the original, on laid paper, and with marbled edges and endpapers that even reproduce a binder's tag of C. Munsell, Albany, N.Y., the binding itself appears to be modern imitation leather.
