Description
Shawn Bridges (20th C., Texas), interesting hand painted desk, featuring colorful game motif, Monopoly game top with poker card motif flanking two sides, eight drawers with metal hardware, unsigned
31"h x 50"w x 26"d
Shawn Kingston Bridges has been an artist her entire life. Though a multi-media designer at heart, her focus lies in acrylic painting. Her sometimes unconventional use of vivid color is not a result of her formal art education, but a reaction against it. She is not bound by the accepted scholarly canon of fine art. She pulls inspiration not only from the masters, but from the beauty of everyday life as well. Her clients include Mr. and Mrs. Red McCombs of San Antonio, Texas, and Cuchara, Colorado; Babs Baugh of San Antonio; Trinity Baptist Church in San Antonio; The Carver Academy in San Antonio; The University of Southern Colorado in Pueblo, Colorado; The American Cancer Society of San Antonio, and the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. She finds personal commissions, though, to be more satisfying, as she can focus on a single subject and the look that patron would like to portray.
We happily provide seamless shipping services on everything we sell. Please email us at shipping@vogtauction.com or call 210-971-5750 for more information.
