Dohmen (1904–1977) was a well-known and highly accomplished German liturgical artist who immigrated to the United States with his family after the Second World War. In pre-World War II Germany had won numerous competitions for large frescoes, up to 10 stories high, and art works for public buildings. Dieterich Spahn (born 1938) is a German-born American artist with a career spanning more than four decades he has produced roughly 370 stained glass commissions for places of worship, hospitals, universities and private residences throughout the United States. Spahn entered into partnership with the New York artist Mel Geary to purchase Peter Dohmen Studios. This is an original stained glass window art template used in an original window. Stained glass art is rare and has become a valuable art collectors opportunity. These items are one-of-a-kind and typically the artist threw them away after the installation was complete.
