Stanley Hunt “Kwa-Gulth Moon”. Number 398/600. Stan C. Hunt comes from a Kwagiulth family from Fort Rupert, British Columbia on Vancouver Island. His grandfather, Mungo Martin is widely credited with saving Kwagiulth art from extinction in the early part of the century. His father, Henry Hunt, was a renowned master carver who worked at the Royal British Columbia Provincial Museum in Victoria for many years. His older brothers, Tony and Richard Hunt, are among the leading artists in the Kwagiulth form. 1979 PENCIL SIGNED STAN HUNT KWA-GULTH MOON SERIGRAPH NW COAST INDIAN AUTHENTICATED AND WITH COA. This original 1979 signed Stan Hunt serigraph or silk screen print is a limited edition art work. The piece is signed in pencil and the edition 398/600 with the date 1979. This piece has never been out of the original frame and is ready to hang. Measures 22" by 22". The circle image measures 13" across. All colors are bright and clear and the are in great condition. With printers stamp. Item has slight ripples to paper.
