Elvis Presley Purchased Lincoln Continental Mark V Registration Paperwork For Ginger Aldean - This lot of DMV registration paperwork is for the 1977 Lincoln Continental Mark V purchased for Ginger Aldean by Elvis Presley in 1976. Elvis Purchased the vehicle while performing at the Hilton International Hotel in Las Vegas from Star Lincoln Mercury Sales in Glendale, California in December of 1976. Elvis sent his longtime chauffeur Gerald Peters to pick it up from Glendale and then paid two men to drive it from Las Vegas to Memphis. Elvis Presley and his fiance Ginger Alden often drove the car, and were pictured using it to attend Alden's grandfather's funeral in Arkansas in January, 1977. This vehicle purchased for Alden was one of the last vehicles Elvis purchased before he passed in August, 1977. This lot includes several registration documents in Ginger Alden's name, including: Star Lincoln Mercury thank you letter, quality control delivery voucher and mailing envelope, California DMV Notice of Sale or Transfer, CA DMV Cashier's Temporary Receipt, CA DMV Temporary Identification, Tennessee Department of Revenue Certificate of Vehicle Registration, and Ford Motors Consumer Information.
