Elvis sent his longtime chauffeur Gerald Peters to pick it up from Glendale and then paid two men to drive it from Las Vegas to Memphis. Elvis Presley and his fiance Ginger Alden often drove the car, and were pictured using it to attend Alden's grandfather's funeral in Arkansas in January, 1977. This vehicle purchased for Alden was one of the last vehicles Elvis purchased before he passed in August, 1977.
