Frederick James Lloyd (English, 1905-1974). Original painting on paper. A gouache composition painted in the artist's naive, self taught style. Featuring grazing sheep and a landscape with trees, rolling river, and architectural element. Artist signature to lower right J. LLOYD. The artist was the first living self taught painter to have a painting exhibited at the Tate Gallery (London). Presented under glass in a matte border and a decorative frame. From the estate of Sally Ann Howes (1930-2021), Tony Award nominated actor and star of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Work Size: 17.5 x 14.25 in.
