DESCRIPTION: An antique german JLS (Jean L. Schlingloff) 800 solid silver hand-hammered hinged box designed in a semicircle shape. Embellished with embossed decorations on the lid cover, depicting a pastoral scene with three figures surrounded by an oval frame and embossed floral decorations with large floral bouquets and garlands. It is further embellished with a pair of flanking musician putti cherub angels, playing a lute and a flute. Marked with "800" and "JLS" makers hallmark. There is a central plaque that is engraved with a "A. L. C" monogram. Total weight: 598 grs.
