Description
North Pacific, Hawaiian Islands, ca. 20th century CE. An elegant set of three koa wood dishes, each boasting a flat, discoid form and smoothly sculpted walls that dramatically rise and curve inward at their peripheries to low, circular rims. Both vessels showcase stunning natural woodgrain surfaces in shimmering hues of golden caramel, toffee, and chocolate. Size of largest: 11.4" Diameter x 1.5" H (29 cm x 3.8 cm)
