Description

Unknown maker 1/4 plate camera circa 1890's in overall VG condition. It has a spring inside of the bellows which allows it to fold down into the body the same way as the old folding top hats work. The front has a simple rotary shutter and a Ross lens with clear optics. The back accepts a plate holder. It comes with a Lancaster plate holdes but I do not think it is original to the camera. Metal viewfinder mounted on top od body. Measures 5" wide, 4.25" tall, and 5" deep bellows extended, 1.75" bellows closed. From the Howard Hazelcorn collection.
