Russia, 18th century pair of brass candlesticks seated four feet and square base. Measuring approx 9” tall. The heavily darkened undersides are indicative of the many years of exposure to burning candles and fireplaces. They are in very good antique condition with normal signs of wear commensurate with age and use; tape has been wrapped around the screws for stability which we have left intact and as-is. They are indeed very characteristic of Russian quality craftsmanship and design prevalent for the period with screw-in bases and hand finishing.
