Fine Napoleon III Mixed Woods Inlaid and Marble-Top Parlor Cabinet
fourth quarter 19th century, the inset shaped white marble top within a cast and molded bronze trim, above a conforming case centered by a single door with an inlaid flower basket, the in-curved sides with an inlaid bow and quiver, raised on turned legs, the whole with elaborate gilt-bronze trim.

Condition
**In overall very good condition. The case is tight and stable, exhibiting no movement in its corner joints.
The marble top is free of breaks or repairs. There are some customary flea bites along the back edge and one tiny chip at a corner near the back.
Some rubbing and some oxidation to gilt mounts.
Door opens and closes freely. Lock present. No key. There is a small veneer chip, about 1/8" diameter, on the inside top corner of the door. Minor shrinkage tear in the veneer in the interior bottom of the cabinet.
