Over the years, the NFL has commissioned Merv Corning to paint more than 300 subjects. His football paintings and prints are in the collections of many NFL teams, players, coaches and owners and has been included in The Pro Football Experience, The Professionals, Great Ones, 75 Seasons and other football books. Corning's work has been exhibited by the Smithsonian Institution, the Pentagon, the Pro Football Hall of Fame, the California Museum of Science and Industry, the Chicago Historical Society and the United States Air Force Museum. His work is held in the permanent collections of the Smithsonian Institution, the U.S. Air Force and other major museums, as well as in prestigious public and private collections.
