An interesting modern abstract serigraph, titled Work No. 19, with an annotation of 39/40, and hand signed on bottom right in pencil by Japanese-American artist Noboru Tsurutani. Dimensions: 31h x 21.5w (unframed). In good vintage condition. Noburo Tsurutani (1940-2007) moved to the United States from Japan in the early 1960’s where he spent 3 decades as an oil painter and printmaker. He learned the techniques of pop silk screening and won several awards and recognitions as an artist in his lifetime. Tsurutani’s art can be found in the permanent collections of The British Museum, California State University, and the Fukumitsu Musuem to name a few.
