Irving Amen,New York, Florida,1918-2011
Depicts a young red headed girl looking off to the side deep in thought. Amen studied at the Pratt institute before continuing his studies in France and Italy. In 1949, Amen held a solo exhibition at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington.

Numbered, titled, and signed "78/100 Pensive Girl Amen" in pencil under image.
From the collection of a Providence, Rhode Island estate.
