Meissen (German, founded 1720), 1815-1924, "Emblematic Of The Theatre", model H39, depicting two putti at play, holding a mask above a laurel draped urn, originally modeled by Christian Gottfried Juchtzer, circa 1784, Impressed and painted marks to underside. Approx. h. 4.5", w. 4.5", d. 3".
Condition
Both figures with losses and/or restorations to hands; chips to blue sash, laurel garland, and floral decoration to base with loss of decoration.
