Two pairs of Staffordshire dogs,19th century, the first having blue painted eyes and copper luster spots, chains, and locks, approx h 9.5", w 7.25", d 5"; together with a pair of larger brown spaniels having vestiges of gold accents, approx. h 11.5", w 10", d 5.5". Both pairs apparently unmarked. Accompanied by 2 receipts from Boxwood Gardens & Gifts.
Condition
No chips or cracks. Copper luster pair: Losses to paint on nose and several paint chips on feet, allover craquelure. It appears the copper and green paint is later than the figures. Brown pair: One dog missing both glass eyes and
