Description
English, 1847, two pieces of Victorian Staffordshire ironstone tableware, each piece with flow blue, salmon, and gilt floral decoration, comprising: a covered vegetable server (h. 7.5", w. 12", d. 10.5") and a platter (h. 1.25", w. 15", d. 12.75"). The vegetable server with impressed registry marks for Saturday, October, 1847, both with pattern number "6/2580"
Condition
Both with some crazing; the platter with some staining; Firing and glaze imperfections; gilding is strong; no apparent chips, cracks, or restorations when examined under ultraviolet light.
