REMBRANDT The Hundred Guilder Print this version is a printed copy of Rembrandts 1649 etching, there are no apparent inscriptions, subject shows the complete chapter 19 of the Gospel of St. Matthew with all its individual pieces woven together into a composite narrative showing Jesus Christ as a luminous figure between contrasting light and dark sides. Window measures approx 10 1/2 x 15 1/4 in., frame measures approx 16 x 20 1/2 in., black and gold toned wood frame, surface wear to frame, professionally framed, not examined out of frame.
