Description
Knaisz Auctions & KnaiszLive.com auction: A torn off piece of Michael Jackson's 2006 World Music Awards Roberto Cavalli jacket. On November 15th, 2006, Michael Jackson walked across the stage in London's Earls Court after receiving his award, took off his jacket and threw it into the audience. The consignor of this item had been standing in the place where the jacket ended up. The fans in the audience immediately tore it apart. Everyone standing there tried to get a piece of it, including him. That is how he gained possession of a relatively large piece of the back of the jacket. The piece to be auctioned is a part of this. The auction includes a photocopy of the original ticket and wristband. The original tickets remain in the possession of the consignor as keepsakes.Estimated $2,000-4,000. PLEASE NOTE, PRE-AUCTION SALES: Knaisz Auctions reserves the right to sell any Lot(s) through a negotiated transaction at any time prior to the conclusion of the auction. If a Lot is sold through a negotiated transaction, it will be withdrawn from the auction. Please email info@knaiszauctions.com and MAKE YOUR OFFER BEFORE THE AUCTION STARTS.
