Description
(1883 - 1954) Soviet politician, jurist and diplomat. Vyshinsky served as Prosecutor General of Stalin's Great Purge and represented the Soviets in the Nuremberg trials. He was the Soviet Foreign Minister from 1949-53. War date T.L.S. in Cyrillic, 1p. legal folio, Moscow, April 14, 1941, sending congratulations to the recipient for his receipt of an award. A few small marginal tears, else fine.
