An extremely rare version of this original concert poster for the Atlanta Pop Festival 1969, which was sold at the event as merchandise. Very few of these large blacklight posters still exist today in ANY condition. There were two sizes of this poster produced, this being the larger version. The first annual Atlanta International Pop Festival was held July 4th weekend of 1969. The festival was organized by promoter Alex Cooley. He was also one of the organizers of the Texas International Pop Festival a few weeks later on Labor Day weekend. Legendary artists like Led Zeppelin and Janis Joplin performed along with a powerful lineup of artists and the Atlanta Pop festival went down in history as one of the great events in the south.
