Chinese Qing Dynasty Qianlong Famille Rose Double Lotus Ear Porcelain Bottle Vase. The porcelain potted in shape vases, large thick and tall, globular mid body, flaring mouth rim with emerging ribbon ear flanked on the neck, raised on a slayed foot base with slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white and famille rose design color, depicted of lotus flowers blooms interspersed foliage and scrolling interlocking tendril. Lotus is one of the most significant flowers in the Chinese culture. It symbolizes the holy seat of Buddha. Because the flower rises from the mud and blooms in exquisite beauty it symbolizes perfection and purity of both the heart and mind.The Under - base bears a reign mark, a sixteen under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years Qianlong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
