Description
A highly appealing and well made 1840s era pistol size powder flask. 4 inches overall height from tip of spout to base. This has a richly patinated copper body with brass collars or ferrules at each end of the cylinder. Some scratches and dents present but nothing objectionable. The flat bottom has two compartments for holding percussion caps and lead balls. Each compartment is secured with a swing away decorated brass cover. One labeled C for caps, the other labeled B for balls. A great old piece of firearms history.
