comprising of nine porcelain plates, the cavetto of each decorated with gilt-edging, foliate and floral gilt sprays and gilt beading against a cobalt blue ground, the centered scene featuring a different hand painted allegory on each, each signed J. Soustre on the recto, the verso each with factory mark in green underglaze, manufacturer mark in red underglaze, titled in gilt overglaze underside of each; diameter: 23.3 cm (9 1/8 in.)

CONDITION
The set is in very good condition. Minimal wear and use. Minor effacing to the gilt titles on verso of some. Inspection under UV shows no sign of restoration.
