Nicolas Guerard (French, 1648-1719) satirical hand-colored etching of "La Letierre de Bagnolet" depicting a milkmaid getting poked by a servant thus making the woman's basket of eggs and milk jug fall to the floor, "Paris Chez Nicolas Guerard Graveur rue St. Jacques a la Reyne du Clerge proche St. Yves. C. P. R." to lower right, housed under glass in a gilt and black painted frame. Image: 11.25" H x 7" W; frame: 16.5" H x 12" W x 0.75" D. Provenance: Removed from an estate located at 160 E 65th Street.
