Danish Krag Jorgensen Model 1889 Bolt Action Rifle, #71940, 8x54R cal., 33'' barrel, blue finish, full-length walnut stock, with leather sling and original muzzle cover. During the German occupation in WWII, the Germans re-introduced this rifle for their own use. Side of receiver is marked ''Gevaersabriken Kjorbenhavn 1910./M.89''. Condition is very good retaining approx. 50%-60% original finish with most of the thinning to exposed part of barrel. Rifle appears all matching, with the exception of a different number on bottom of stock which shows light scuffs and loss of definition to the fingergroove. Stock has been cut beneath rear barrel band and is only noticeable on very close examination. The forward portion appears to be original to the rest of the wood. Action is crisp, bore is fair.
