Color lithographed map, lithographed by Schmidt Label & Litho Co. 40.5x73 cm (16x28¼"), neatly affixed to backing board with archival tape, matted.
The plat shows Part of Rancho San Miguel; Part of Rancho Rincon de las Salinas Potrero Viejo; the Presidio Military Reservation; Charter Line of 1850; Point San Jose Military Reservation; and a number of early roads, etc. There is a "Description of Lands included within the Exterior Boundaries of the Pueblo of San Francisco" at upper left, with a key showing 15 grants and tracts. A table at right gives precise description of boundaries of the Pueblo Lands. Issued in San Francisco Municipal Reports for the Fiscal Year 1886-7, with pp. [209]-227 from the report, on the "Patent of the Pueblo Lands," excerpted and accompanying the map.
